The bike is tastefully co-branded with Ace Café logos adorning the side panels, tank & tail section. With low slung handlebars, alloy-rimmed wire wheels & dominating central racing stripe running along the tank to the beautifully sculpted custom seat, the Triumph Thruxton Ace looks as ready to take pole position on a classic race grid as much as sit purposefully outside the local café after a spirited morning ride. Featuring the same engine as the renowned Triumph Thruxton, power is provided by Triumph’s signature charismatic parallel twin from the Bonneville. Producing a peak power of 68 horsepower w/ 51 Lbs./Ft. Torque across a broad rev range, the Thruxton Ace delivers its performance with a suitable increase in the edginess of the exhaust note from the classically styled chrome silencers. The Thruxton’s chassis is based around the Bonneville, and meets Triumph’s exacting standards by generating a composed, yet agile ride at all times. Its steel tube frame, 41mm KYB forks, twin KYB rear shocks, Nissin disc brakes & wire spokes on lightweight aluminum rims running the latest radial tires combine with sporting steering geometry to give the Thruxton Ace performance to match the engine’s character and riding position. The Thruxton Ace Special Edition is a contemporary two-wheeled tribute that celebrates Triumph's association with the legendary Ace Café in North London. Its classic café racer features include: Unique paint & decal scheme, Sculpted oxblood custom seat, Detachable seat hump, Authentic bar end mirrors, & Handlebar plaque. Again, only 325 Triumph Thruxton Ace Café Special Editions were made available to United States, and it has become an instant classic that is not easy to acquire!This particular example is absolutely pristine, has never seen a drop of water in its life, and has been stored in a climate controlled garage under cover at all times. Lets face it, the newer EFI Triumphs leave the factory with much to be desired in terms of having a smooth powerband without any flat spots. They lack a consistent idle, and tend to run on the lean side, all due to the emissions regulations. All of these flaws have been corrected on this bike by removing the AI System, removing the O2 sensor, & removing the Airbox baffle (retains original airbox, as there is no gain to removing the airbox, the baffle removal is just as effective while maintaining the original airbox). The snorkel air intake was replaced with a Triumph Twin Power Breathe Intake along with a DNA high flow air filter. The stock silencers were replaced with British Customs Predators, which in addition to being a performance upgrade sound awesome! Most importantly, the bike was mapped with a Triumph Twin Power Map specifically designed for these modifications. The bike is now one of the smoothest performing Triumphs you will ever ride, with no hesitation, smooth idle, and no cutouts. The way this bike runs & performs compared to the stock bike is absolutely amazing! Some other touches that have been added are the fork gators & the clutch lifter cover with boot. I also added a new white Triumph headlight cowl, which looks great in my opinion!Again, this perfect 2015 Triumph Thruxton Ace Special Edition motorcycle is absolutely 100% showroom mint and due to the improvements much better than new!
