RARE GARAGE FIND! This is an example of an all original 1932 all steel Ford 5 window sedan. I am the third owner. The first owner had this car until around 1975 or so, when he sold it to my father. My dad restored it to original and drove it on the weekends until 1979, when it was placed in a climate controlled garage in Colorado. The car was transferred to my garage 2 years ago in Texas. My dad always wanted to hot rod this car, but never found the time to start the project. I can't bring myself to chop up such a great example of Americana. The entire car is vintage 1932 steel. There is no rust as far as I can tell. I don't think the paint is original. It is a very dark green. It looks black under most light. The passenger side has a fiberglass fender in place, but there is a steel one in a box included with the sale. The engine is a flathead V-8, which ran before it went into storage. The odometer reads 4079 miles. The engine has never been rebuilt. Cosmetically, the exterior is very good, with a straight body. There are a couple of small dings on the driver side fender which are about thumbprint size. there is one small ding on the passenger side which is maybe dime sized. The paint is older than 1975, but still in decent condition. As far as I can tell, there is no rust. The dash is in excellent condition with all original switches, knobs and gauges. All glass is original and intact; the driver side window has a crack in it. The interior needs new upholstery. The wheel lug covers do not all match. Some say Ford, Some say V8. 5 are included, one for each wheel. Some have dents. The chrome is in good shape. The front grill is straight with good chrome. All rubber and belts will need to be replaced. All fluids are pre-1979 and need to be changed. There are no leaks anywhere, as far as i can tell. The battery will need to be replaced. The roof is original and intact. It has never been filled in. The wood is intact. There are no leaks in the roof. Clear Texas title in hand. $250 deposit required with winning bid will be applied to purchase price. This is non refundable to cover the cost of re listing if final funds are not received. I can help find you a company to ship the car from my location to yours. It cost me $550 to ship it from Colorado to Texas, for reference. Good luck and happy bidding!
