Vehicle Detail

For Sale: 1941 Willys Famous Show Truck Mura Bros. "World's Wildest Willys" 1965 Winner - Grand National Roadster Show - "America's Most Beautiful Competition Vehicle" award, along with 28 major trophies and sweepstake awards between 1964 and the end of 1965. Featured on the cover of "Rod & Custom" Sept. 1964 and also featured in color "Popular Hot Rodding" May 1965. Featured 14 pages in "Rodders Journal" #48, "Gasser Wars Magazine" Issue 92 cover and feature, "Traditional Rod & Kulture Illustrated" Spring 2015 "Competition Vehicle Award" - Rodder Journals Revival 2014. Competition Vehicle Award - Clutch Artist 2014. The list goes on and on. You are viewing the "most" winning Willys ever built!! This is the original show gasser that Nick Mura built in 1963-64. Only 40 miles since complete 7 year restoration. Power comes via a 496 cu. in. Stroker Mopar Wedge newly built by "Big Als Toy Box." This 871 Blown monster produced 903 H.P. on the second dyno pull, on pump gas. Backed by a polished Aluminum Case 727 Torge-Flite with a Hughs 3000 Stall Converter. Third member is an H.D. 8 3/4 Big Pinion Chrysler with 5:13 Posi. The complete front-end, rear-end, ladder bars, coil overs, and roll bar have been chrome plated. Everything is new or completely gone through during the restoration. Paint was originally done by Joe Bailon in late 1964 and later duplicated by Jesse Gonzales of "Street Toys" in Juarez, Mexico. The original interior still looks like new thanks to Gil Britto in 1964. The entire history can be found on the internet. This is a very rare opportunity to own of the greatest Willys of all time. A real piece of "Hot Rod History." This truck is absolutely turn key *** needs nothing! Would consider "33 - "40 - "42 steel coupes as partial trade. Can help arrange shipping world wide. Any questions, please call Kevin Doolittle 1-716-397-2908. Show by appointment only. Serious buyers only. Thanks for looking.
