Vehicle Detail
This bug is a great daily driver. Starts up on the first crank, runs drives and stops well. all the gears work including reverse. The car has been repainted recently and looks to be in good condition. Carpet shows a bit of age, but was removed and run through the wash and is now clean and good to go. Floor has one, all steel oem style repair panel welded quarter welded in under the battery. Steering is good and does not wobble. Has very firm brakes and has disk brakes in front. The dash is in very good shape for being 46 years old no cracks in the top and should clean up nicely. odometer shows 000860 miles, I am willing to bet the odom has rolled over. Has slotted and polished wheels with studs, locking lugs and key. New running boards with new chrome. New starterNew wiper blades. New rear brake cylinders with new soft lines. New windscreen and seal. New seat covers front and back seats. New bumper seals. Pretty much most of the brake system has been replaced new master and slave cylinders in the rear, soft brake lines in rear, disks brakes perform very well. Engine is a 1500cc single port throttle is good and responsive The carb has been rebuilt. This is NOT a show car, it is not a museum piece, it has the quirks and flaws of the 46 year old car that it is. It has surface scratches, some blemishes, chips, dings etc... It has been driven around the block a few times to check that it runs drives and stops well. You are welcome to set up an appointment to inspect the car or ask questions. This is an Auction, If you are bidding, you do so to BUY the car; you are not bidding to have the right to come see the car and then decide if you want to buy it or not. $500 deposit is non-refundable.
