Here is a fine example of a 1973 BMW 2002 Tii 4 speed . Known as the "Roundie" and the most sought after .Atlantic Blue exterior with black and blue interior and white headliner. Spent all but a few years in California where it was sold new. Never winter driven and always garaged hence the condition . Original body; lady owned and I was told when I got it 4 years ago that it was never in an accident and the body was original including all floors , trunk etc. has the original windscreen ( tinted) and glass. No tears or rips in the headliner, seats, dash. Car has the factory alloy rims ( 5) that have new tires mounted on all of them. Comes with an AM-FM CD player , your choice of steering wheels ( see photos) and leather Recaro seats. New Hella Fog lights .Recent work include re-building the starter, new battery, all new brakes front and rear. Has the new Bilstein shocks, clutch, and driveshaft. Complete. Brand new Ansa exhaust front to back . Motor was done a few years back along with the radiator . See major receipt for over $12,000.Interior was re-done by California Interiors. SeatsI just recently installed a new black and grey carpet kit and trunk mat to match. Same colours as original. Getting harder and harder to find a good original Tii that was from a southern dry state , garaged, without wintersthat has been serviced extensively since new and has basically been re-furnished with a lot of new parts. The car has had a lot of $$$ spent on it and it is ready to go. The chrome is unbelievable for the age of the car. The underbody of the car was hand sanded and had a coat of Por 15 applied about 2 1/2 years ago and it still looks like new . This is an excellent driver, really tight without any dents. These are all the good things about this car. Negatives: Stainless needs polishing ; the interior light needs to be replaced and I bought one but unable to find whereI tucked it away. When I find it I will replace it . It is a minor thing and easy to do. Also the clock works periodically!!!!!!!!! Had a huge collection of cars and this is one of the last few left. Sold 3 to Germany and one to England and several to the U.S. and Canada. Saved one of my favourites for last but now someone else gets to enjoy it. Of course your buying as where is without warranty but your welcome to get an independent party to come view it and have it checked out. Also I have it listed locally so I have the option to remove the car from the site if it should sell before auction close. In closing I would like to say the original owner had this car a long time and did a major overhaul of the engineand more and with everything I have added to it over the last 4 years it is like a new old car. This is a real nice car with a pile of brand new parts and your not only buying a fun collectable car but your investing your money wisely and getting to enjoy a really neat piece of automobile history.
