My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Volvo S70. The S70 was the evolution of the 850, as it carried over nearly all of the major components from the 850...just with an updated look. I would rate the exterior of this S70 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Overall, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in dark green over tan, which is a good color combination. The green finish shows well for its age. As with any older car, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific S70, there are a few scratches on the hood as well as a blemish on the front bumper cover and a very noticeable dent on the right side over the RR wheel. Please look at each of the photos carefully to see all these things. The body lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well. The front tires are pretty much shot but the rears are good. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this S70 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The most noteworthy thing about this Volvo is that it has the cloth interior...which Volvo cloth is amazingly comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. If you've never had a car with heated cloth, it's heaven...it's like driving around in a heated blanket. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The previous owner apparently was partial to their radio, because they kept it. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works properly and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good. If I'm being picky, the car could probably use front brakes (just pads, I think). The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The check engine light was on for "Bank 1 System Too Lean". I cleared the code, as these codes are sometimes nothing, to see if it would come back. It hasn't yet...but I want you to know about it in case it comes back later. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. With only 124k miles, this Volvo has plenty of life to give to her next. The belt was done on time and isn't due for another year or so, depending on how much you drive. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Volvo S70. The S70 was the evolution of the 850, as it carried over nearly all of the major components from the 850...just with an updated look. I would rate the exterior of this S70 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Overall, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in dark green over tan, which is a good color combination. The green finish shows well for its age. As with any older car, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific S70, there are a few scratches on the hood as well as a blemish on the front bumper cover and a very noticeable dent on the right side over the RR wheel. Please look at each of the photos carefully to see all these things. The body lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well. The front tires are pretty much shot but the rears are good. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.
I would rate the interior of this S70 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The most noteworthy thing about this Volvo is that it has the cloth interior...which Volvo cloth is amazingly comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. If you've never had a car with heated cloth, it's heaven...it's like driving around in a heated blanket. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The previous owner apparently was partial to their radio, because they kept it. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works properly and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean.
Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good. If I'm being picky, the car could probably use front brakes (just pads, I think). The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The check engine light was on for "Bank 1 System Too Lean". I cleared the code, as these codes are sometimes nothing, to see if it would come back. It hasn't yet...but I want you to know about it in case it comes back later. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. With only 124k miles, this Volvo has plenty of life to give to her next. The belt was done on time and isn't due for another year or so, depending on how much you drive. Winning Bidders:

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers, PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $49 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
