1964 CORVAIR SPYDER CONVERTIBLE 6 CYLINDER TURBO 4 SPEED STICK SHIFT Transmission. Has been covered in dry heated storage for over 25+ years. Miles/Odometer shows 24662? Tires appear to be dry rotted,they air up and hold air for several hours then go flat. Car is complete!! Including four original Spyder hub caps. Vehicle is in tack missing nothing that I can tell other than rear engine hood turbo emblem. Exterior: (Rough/Good) Car appears to have had some body/rust repairs and repainted at an earlier time? Lower front fenders rust starting. Rust starting in lower rear fenders in front of rear tires. Bubbling in the paint above head lights. Rain gutter areas in the engine compartment and trunk appear to have been repaired. Bumpers and chrome trim parts are in good condition, except for the left rear wheel opening trim ring. Underside floor boards and trunk appear to be solid. Body damage to the left rear fender, dent in the rear deck lid and body area below deck lid. Repairs to upper body between engine hood and rear window. Interior: Is in very good condition!!!! No rips in seats, carpet is in good condition. Door panels are in tack in good condition. Dash area is in tack and in good condition. No indication of mouse intrusion? No smells or odors. Interior just needs a good cleaning and touch up. Convertible Top: and rear window is in very good condition!! NO rips or major stains. Engine: Car had fuel additive added before car went into storage. Recent oil change, gas added and battery installed. Engine cranks over, but doesn't start. Engine Compartment: is complete! All engine components appear to be in tack. (Has a spare tire, missing wheel lock.) Lighting: Headlights & rear tails, horn, turn signals, wipers, and radio appeared to operate ok. Static in the Radio, antenna is broken near the base. Glass/Windows: Glass appears to be in good condition. Windows operate normal, they roll up and down. Brake pedal goes to the floor. I did my best to describe this vehicles condition so you get a good understanding of its possibilities and potential for restoration process. PLEASE refer to pictures for further insight of condition. This vehicle is being sold in as is condition, with no warranties.
