1980 VW Dasher Diesel with 196k miles. Just had oil and filter change, new air filter. Starts right up, runs great. Good brakes, good tires, good exhaust. This a very solid car. The trunk gives you an idea of what the undercarriage looks like too. The pictures are showing the minor rust the car has. Very nice interior This is also an A/C car but have not tried to run it. Now for the bad. It will need a trunk lock (key was lost). Also, there's a problem with the trans or possibly the shifter. I can only get reverse, first and second gears. In third or fourth the trans binds up. The trans is available on carpart.com and they start at $150. Besides the trans issue, a little tlc will have this car in tip top condition.
