You are buying a 2003 grey Volvo V70 AWD wagon with 181,857 miles on it--please read the whole listing before bidding. This is my father's car--they have owned many Volvos over the years and this one was regularly serviced and has many new parts. The mechanic says it has a major engine problem--a bad fourth cylinder. He already replaced the coil packs--it is not electrical, it is mechanical. Please note--this car is driveable, on four cylinders rather than five, however that would only be to get it somewhere to be repaired. (The cylinder will eventually fill with gas and you will eventually blow the whole motor.) What I am saying is, you can drive it home but it will need a major repair. With respect to the car, just look at it. The exterior is MINT. The interior is MINT. The only issues are the sunroof is broken and doesn't open and the hitch is unusable as it only has one bolt connecting it. My father just put $1172 into it at 179k, replacing the alternator, the compressor, and the serpentine belt. Shortly thereafter, the #3 and #4 coil packs were replaced (#5 had already been replaced.) If you were going to cannibalize the car or part it out, these are like new parts. The way I see it, this is the perfect car if you have another engine laying around, or if you feel like doing a head. Conversely, you could take the wheels, lenses, relays, computer, instrument cluster, radiator, battery, cat, alternator, and compressor out and sell them for significantly more than what the junkyard is offering for the scrap. Either way, this is an AS IS sale with a clear title to the highest bidder. Car is in Terryville, Connecticut and buyer will have to arrange pickup.
