This is a gorgeous and near flawless 1974 Corvette that has had over $20,000.00 spent on the restoration and only driven approximately 1,000 miles since most of the cosmetics were done. It has near flawless (no rock chips) recent paint, new exterior chrome emblems, new Hooker Headers and chrome side pipes, new tires (still have the nubs), new wheels, a new windshield (the rest of the glass is beautiful), and a custom one piece tinted T-top. It comes with the original two piece tops as well which are in excellent shape. The interior has been entirely redone starting with replacing the heater/evaporator core, new AC/Heat control mechanism (the dial), new wiring harness, all new carpet front and rear, new door panels, new power window motors, new dash, new seat covers, backs, new seat belts, all new seat foam, new storage compartments in the rear, new battery, new visors and everything works right down to the factory clock. Under the hood is a rebuilt 350 with a mild cam (nice lope to go with the exhaust note), rebuilt turbo 400 transmission, new rotors, new calipers, new braided brake lines, new(er) steering box from a wrecked 77 with only 38k miles on it, no slop, new windshield wiper unit, new AC lines, A6 OEM compressor (converted to R134A), new fan clutch, all new vacuum system with head light actuators, lines, etc. Has an aftermarket stereo system with CD player. I have photos of this car stripped down to the shell. Yes, that is a big block hood with a small block engine. It was purchased new just because it adds to the curves and looks awesome. Car is in a storage facility and I can keep it there until it is picked up by your shipper (within reason).On Jul-08-16 at 13:51:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Not very sophisticated and didn't know until now (called Ebay support) that I could add information to my ad after the bidding had begun. Anyway, I had company coming the night I listed it, I was in a hurry, and forgot to mention some information that would be important to interested buyers. That information is that the front suspension of this car has been rebuilt which would include ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm, an expensive alignment, and the power steering pump has been rebuilt. When the new steering box was installed afterward I found that the steering wheel was slightly off center when one drives it down the road. This does not in anyway effect the alignment as the car tracks like a laser going down the road, only the position of the steering wheel. I did some research on line and found that this can be easily corrected by uniformly adjusting the tie rod ends. The steering wheel being off center may not bother the new owner, I am not qualified to make this adjustment, and so it is being left as is. If you are close the car is available for your inspection.
