Up for your consideration is this 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. I purchased this car about three and a half years ago when it had 47489 miles on it. In that time have only driven it about 180 miles, only in nice weather. The rest of the time it is in my garage. During that time I have made the following improvements/repairs;The paint has been professionally wet sanded and buffed, (the previous owner had the car painted and new decals applied).The "snowflake" wheels were professionally restored/reconditioned and have new BF Goodrich 255/60R/15 radials.The following new parts (acquired from GM, AC Delco, Remy, Classic Industries) were also installed; battery, both cables, starter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, air filter, distributor cap, rotor module, tachometer, rear speakers, package shelf, door sill plates, floor mats, windshield.The last time I drove the car it started, ran and shifted normally. The only obvious conditions the car has is the following;The air conditioning works however the freon leaks out over time. The leak will need to be found and repaired.the dash pad has two cracks, see photoThere is a drip of transmission fluid on my garage floor after it is parked for a while, do not know why. Just noticed this the last time I had the car out.Drivers door glass has some scratches (from going up and down the last 39 years?) I have tried to describe and photo this car to the best of my ability. Please ask any questions PRIOR to bidding. I will get back to you as soon as possible. On Jun-28-16 at 16:49:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I was asked today if the engine and transmission are original. I found the vin# on the passenger front of the engine and it is a match. I am still looking for the vin# on the transmission. I believe it to be the original one because it does not look like it was ever taken out of the car. The previous owner also told me that the drivetrain was original/stock. He gave me ownership documents back to approx. 5000 miles when He/His family got the car. If I find the vin# on the transmission I will update this information. Thank you
