Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with the desirable 4.0L inline six cylinder engine and Select-Trac part time 4WD system. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. This Jeep gets that rating simply because the clear coat is noticeably coming off of the hood and the tops of the fenders. If having a pretty truck is important to you, you could get this fixed for probably $200-300. Other than that, the exterior looks decent for the age and mileage of this truck. As with any older vehicle, please expect normal flaws and imperfections commensutate with age and mileage. All of the body cladding is present and properly attached. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Grand Cherokee to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As with nearly every older Jeep Grand Cherokee of this generation, there are the three age related issues that seem to happen to all of them. First, there is wear on the drivers door panel where your elbow goes. Second, the headliner is sagging in the rear. Lastly, the center console lid is broken. It looks like you may be able to repair it (the lid is back in the cargo area). The only other issue with the interior is that the drivers window doesn't work. The other three windows work fine. The sunroof is an ASC sliding sunroof, which works properly and shows no signs of leaking. The audio system is original and appears to be working properly. The climate control system also appears to be working. The heat works but the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. I can hear the compressor kick on and off, which leads me to believe it is just low on juice. The seats are comfortable and show just age related wear. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The original owners book is included. Again, please check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Grand Cherokee appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine doesn't smoke. Her road manners are good for an old Jeep. The suspension feels okay for its age. The steering has a little float in it, which is common at this age. The brakes stop this Jeep with no issues. The engine runs smoothly and makes good power. She keeps good oil pressure and excellent temperature at all times. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. This Jeep has the desirable Select-Trac 4WD system which is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. This Jeep is a fresh, local trade and has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of October, 2016. If you're looking for an inexpensive and reliable SUV, this Jeep would certainly meet those needs. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with the desirable 4.0L inline six cylinder engine and Select-Trac part time 4WD system. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. This Jeep gets that rating simply because the clear coat is noticeably coming off of the hood and the tops of the fenders. If having a pretty truck is important to you, you could get this fixed for probably $200-300. Other than that, the exterior looks decent for the age and mileage of this truck. As with any older vehicle, please expect normal flaws and imperfections commensutate with age and mileage. All of the body cladding is present and properly attached. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.
I would rate the interior of this Grand Cherokee to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As with nearly every older Jeep Grand Cherokee of this generation, there are the three age related issues that seem to happen to all of them. First, there is wear on the drivers door panel where your elbow goes. Second, the headliner is sagging in the rear. Lastly, the center console lid is broken. It looks like you may be able to repair it (the lid is back in the cargo area). The only other issue with the interior is that the drivers window doesn't work. The other three windows work fine. The sunroof is an ASC sliding sunroof, which works properly and shows no signs of leaking. The audio system is original and appears to be working properly. The climate control system also appears to be working. The heat works but the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. I can hear the compressor kick on and off, which leads me to believe it is just low on juice. The seats are comfortable and show just age related wear. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The original owners book is included. Again, please check out each of the photos carefully.
Mechanically, this Grand Cherokee appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine doesn't smoke. Her road manners are good for an old Jeep. The suspension feels okay for its age. The steering has a little float in it, which is common at this age. The brakes stop this Jeep with no issues. The engine runs smoothly and makes good power. She keeps good oil pressure and excellent temperature at all times. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. This Jeep has the desirable Select-Trac 4WD system which is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. This Jeep is a fresh, local trade and has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of October, 2016. If you're looking for an inexpensive and reliable SUV, this Jeep would certainly meet those needs. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers, PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $49 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
