Vehicle Detail

VIDEO OF THE VEHICLE --> https://youtu.be/aMKhrxj2b_s .. I am selling my 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. This is an "A" Code car which meant it came from the factory with the 289 V8 with 4 Barrel Carb option. The original Colors were Raven Black with Red interior. I have owned this for a long time. Since I have owned it, it has been garage kept. 1965 was the first year for the Fastback mustang and I regard this as one of the rarest ever built. You could get in this car and drive it across the country. I have spent well over my asking price on this vehicle. Please look at all of the pictures and read the description / specs below. There is no warranty on this and it is for sale locally as well. I reserve the right tpo end the auction if sold locally. Engine: This engine is a 1965 Ford 289 (not original to this vehicle but correct motor) stroked into a 331 stroker. Bored .30 over and the deck has been leveled. I sent this to a build shop to have it built. It had literally everything done. SCAT 331 Stroker kit installed, Edelbrock Aluminum heads, THUMPER cam (which hits super hard), Holley Double Pumper, and all exterior items such as intake mainfifold, alternator are chrome as can be seen in the photos. This this is cam'd to the max as you can tell in the video. Exhaust: Chrome long tube headers with flowmaster Exhaust with stock style baffles coming out of the rear vallace. Transmission: I believe this is the original transmission to this car. It is a Toploader Speed with a hurst shifter. All seals etc were replaced on this. After the car is warmed up, it tends to pop out of nd gear unless you hold the shifter down. I never had a problem just holding the shifter down and never investigated the matter further. Interior: Everything redone on the inside except the headliner and fold down seat. Dash and seats look great. Right rear interior quarter panel has a hole in it from where somebody put a speaker in. I believe it is the orignial panel so I never replaced it. The headliner needs to be replaced as it is ripped in the back. All gauges work properly except the speedometer recently went. I checked it out and the cable was melted by the header. Rear fold down seat is missing some parts. Looks good to me so I never bothered with it. Blower was never hooked up for defrost etc as I never drove this car in the rain or questionable weather. Body: This car is painted FLAT Black. It is how I got it. All of the exterior chrome is new and I really liked the way it looked with the flat black. You can tell there was not much prepwork done before they painted this. You see marks here and there when looking close. Mainly on the trunk lid and roof. One quarter panel looks like it was reparied around the wheel well. I am INCLUDING Two NOS reproduction quarter panels that I found in a barn. Also including the original hood. This has a fiberglass shelby hood with steel frame. New Floor Pans on this. Underside looks clean. Suspension: NEW rear leaf springs, shackles, and shocks. NEW Front coils, and shocks. All suspension is factory original spec. Rear: Factory 8 inch Rear. Restored. Other NEW Parts: NEW Gas tank, New fuel lines front to back, New brakes all the way around, New brank lines front to back, new resevoir, New american racing 17 inch wheels with performance tires (approx 500 miles on wheels and tires), New Grill , New gas cap, New front and rear valance. This vehicle has approximately 500 miles on it since it was rebuilt. Local Pick up only on this car. If you arrange for a shipper to pick it up I have no problem with that.
