VERY COOL, VERY FAST 1988 Honda 250r with custom Polaris 400 cylinder top end. 40MM FTZ Mikuni flat-slide carb, +8 inch chrome extended swingarm, ESR Type 5 pipe, ESR intake with K&N Filter (no airbox) ITP custom wheels, Renthal bars, Cascade seat, custom 400r decals, original frame paint and Honda plastics. Estimated 60-65 rwhp. Runs on 92 octane PUMP GAS. Hard to find CLEAN TITLE comes with the bike. Reducing my collection... I bought the bike several years ago and have only ridden in the dunes a few times. Bike was professionally built about 10 years ago with Polaris 400 top end that gives the bike great torque and tons of power. Bike is coupled with a 40MM Mikuni FTZ carb and VForce reeds and ESR 5 center mount pipe. HPD Power Billet head on cylinder. Less than 20 hours on the top end. Lights work both front and rear. Fenders and frame paint are Honda original. Frame paint does has some nicks and scratches. Honda plastics are overall nice originals, but not perfect. A-arms do have heavy scratching (not bent) and should be painted or replaced. Tires were replaced all around with 90% tread remaining. ITP SS wheels all around, one wheel is missing the center cap. Seat was recovered with a Cascade custom cover. Bike has lots of compression and takes a good number of kicks to start when cold, but will fire with 1 kick when warn.. This bike runs hard and is SUPER FAST!! Both front and rear brakes work well and clutch does not slip. No leaks anywhere. Renthal handlebars with polished thumb throttle. Polished side engine side covers and chrome rear brake pedal. Stock Honda shocks all around. Very unique bike overall and lots of money spent on this over the years.
