1935 CADILLAC BLIND QUARTER 'TOWN SEDAN'A V/8, 'SERIES 20' CAR WITH 136" WHEELBASELAST REGISTERED AND DRIVEN IN THE LATE 1960'SVERY SOLID BODY - DOORS CLOSE LIKE A CADILLAC SHOULD!READY TO RESTORE OR RESTO-ROD! I have two (2) 1935 Cadillacs. The car subject to this auction is a 355D V/8 Town Sedan (136"WB), Series 20. It was last registered in dry Nevada in 1967 or 1968. I purchased the car from a collector in Reno in 2006, with plans to resto-rod it. It has an excellent body, but does have surface rust. The doors close very nicely, and the metal side trim is nice as well. The car has 6 wires with dual side mounts, the rare accessory deluxe ('flexible') steering wheel, and is 98% complete. The car does needs a COMPLETE restoration - all aspects, but what a wonderful car to start with! I have no idea if the motor did, or could run....and have no interest in trying to find out for you. The drivetrain was of no concern to me when I bought it, and frankly I know nothing about the original drivetrains. But it would sure be sweet with a newer LS based Cadillac motor!This Cadillac is being sold with a clear 1967 Nevada 'Ownership Certificate', signed off by the then owner on November 18, 1968. I will include this with a copy of the bill of sale of when I purchased it in 2006, as well as a new bill of sale for your purchase.I also have a second 1935 Cadillac - a very rare V/8 355D Town Coupe (5 passenger, Victoria style),(128"WB) Series 10. It is one of less than 1,200 Series 10 bodied cars, spread across 6 body styles. would estimate less than 300 of this body style were ever made! The car also has 6 wires with dual side mounts, and presents well from on older restoration but it has not been run in years. I bought it in 2010 from an Tucson AZ man who's father had restored it many years ago prior to his passing. I see no rust anywhere. Seems complete, but could be missing some small items. That car is not a part of this auction, as I really don't want to sell it individually. However, I will sell both cars as a package for $29,500. (this car is shown in two pictures after the car featured in the auction - it is the dusty red car with black fenders).The last SIX (6) photos are of a couple of different 1934 - 1935 Cadillac and Buick Resto-Rods - to give you an idea of what this car could look like finished. They are certainly LARGE and impressive motorcars, whether stock or modified!I am located in Paso Robles, CA - exactly 1/2 way between Los Angeles and San Francisco - on CA Hwy 101. More specifically, I'm 200 miles to downtown LA or SF, an only 110 miles to Fresno or Bakersfield (either/or, same distance to each).
