Vehicle Detail

Thanks for looking. To summarize, I am selling two Saab 9-3s (a 2000 and a 2001), plus a full set of nearly new winter tires on Saab rims, plus a bunch of parts. This all comes together -- I am clearing out, not parting out. Cars are located in Arlington, VA (zip 22205). Saab #1 is a 2000 9-3 Turbo 4-door Hatchback with 66,391 miles. The VIN is YS3DD58H0Y2042206. No accidents. I will describe the color as "greenish-silver". Transmission (automatic) is blown, but I have a replacement transmission (with 70K on it, from a junkyard) for installation; that will come with the car. The replacement tranny was "tested and guaranteed" by the junkyard, but that was on a now-expired 90 day warranty. I believe the radiator blew when the tranny blew, but I'm not positive on that. Engine ran strong; was getting around 24 city, 29 highway on premium gas. Has a nearly full tank of 93 octane gas. Power sunroof. Excellent condition, tan-brown colored leather manual seats. SID was replaced with a new one from BBA (works perfectly). All four speakers were replaced with medium-quality after-market speakers. Riding on four Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires with roughly 50% tread. Decent battery. Exhaust system is not new, but it's in decent shape. New-ish direct ignition cassette (DIC); throwing no DIC codes. Pretty much everything (A/C, heat, wipers, power windows, radio, power locks, sunroof, SID, cruise control, etc.) works -- this was my daily driver until the tranny blew. Starts instantly and runs, but (obviously) it needs to be towed. Two keys. Passed most recent Virginia inspection and emissions. Saab #2 is a 2001 9-3 Turbo 4-door Hatchback with just under 100K miles. The VIN is YS3DD58H712052883. No accidents. Color is silver (or if you prefer, "platinum"). Automatic transmission. Drives perfectly, but thanks to a prior owner the turbo is fried (it still works, but it smokes on startup and sometimes while driving), and the oil pan gasket leaks and will need to be re-done (I de-sludged the sump, but somehow managed to screw up the gasket when putting things back together). Engine runs strong; getting around 23 city, 28 highway on premium gas. Has a third of a tank of 93 octane gas. Power sunroof. Except for the driver's seat, has excellent condition, black colored leather manual seats -- driver's seat is showing some wear along the seams. SID has lost some pixels, and will need to be repaired, replaced, or lived with. All four speakers replaced with medium-quality after-market speakers. Power antenna works, but the mast will be to be replaced (a replacement mast is included). Has a fairly new radiator, new brakes on the rear, and mixed tires (2 Nexen and 2 Fuzion) with roughly 50% tread. Good battery. Exhaust system is high quality and less than a year old. New-ish ignition cassette (DIC); throwing no DIC codes. Small area of rust-rot on left rear quarter-panel (treated with orthophosphate, but not yet patched). Except as noted, pretty much everything (A/C, heat, wipers, power windows, radio, power locks, sunroof, cruise control, etc.) works. Has only one key, but another Saab key with the correct FOB will be included (a blank can be purchased and cut, and the FOB can be re-programmed). Passed most recent Virginia inspection and emissions. Winter tires (4) are Cooper Weather Masters mounted on Saab rims (will fit either car). As noted above, these are nearly new, and have less than 250 miles on them. Have been stored inside - no sun damage or dry rot. A bunch of other mostly minor, miscellaneous parts (e.g., starter, spare DIC, oil sending unit, much more) will be included. Some parts are new; most are recovered from other vehicles and were purchased off ebay or craigslist. Finally, a Haynes manual will also be included. I can provide a CarFax report for both vehicles. Titles are clear. I have all service records from the point when I purchased them. Complete Saab owner's manuals are in each vehicle. I am selling this locally also, so if there are no bids on ebay and it sells locally I will withdraw this auction. I want this sold by Memorial Day evening.
