Up for sale is this AMAZING example of a 1978 trans am special edition CLONE, commonly called the bandit with only 65,000 (title states actual miles). Factory 6.6 Pontiac 400 car and factory 4-spd. The non-number matching era correct 400 motor just had a fresh professional rebuild with mild cam and head job. Polished rims, 255-60-16 bf Goodrich tires, Motor sounds great and has good oil pressure , 4-spd goes threw all the gears good no grinding , 323 posi rear end no humming or weird noises Body was stripped down to the bare metal and was etch primed. and then block sanded 5 times until body was laser straight. Then paint was applied (19 code star lite black) and wet sanded & buffed to a mirror finish.(see pictures) All new phoenix graphic decals were applied ,all body panels line up excellent ,doors open and close perfect with no sagging. Car still has 90 percent of its original body panels. Still has the factory flares that fit the car as they should (unlike the aftermarket ones) Interior is in nice original shape. Dash is uncut and still has original radio that still comes on and lights up but no speakers are hooked up , T-tops fit tight and do not leak. Door bottoms are nice. Rear valance under rear bumper is mint. Car still has its original un cut floors and trunk. Undercarriage and frame are nice. Everything works as it should including ...heat, blower motor, wipers, blinkers, lights, gauges, Car runs, drives, and stops, great!
