This is a public agency owned 2008 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab pickup, 4 wheel drive, 6 foot bed with 140,023 miles. It is equipped with a ­­­­­­­­­­­gasoline powered Vortec 5.3 Liter V8 engine, 4 speed automatic transmission, anti-spin rear axle, AM/FM radio (buttons are worn from use), tilt wheel, A/C and cruise control. Interior is in good condition for vehicle of this age and use, 40/20/40 front seating and folding rear bench seat. Body and paint has normal wear, dings, dents and scratches associated with a fleet truck. Blemishes include logo removal on both doors, driver’s seat is worn and needs to be recovered, screw holes in tunnel where radio was mounted, paint on bed rails worn and additional holes in bed rail and floor of bed where tools boxes and beacon light were mounted, (tool boxes and beacon light are not included), radio antenna mounted on top of cab, tires will need to be replaced soon the tread depth is approximately 4/32 of an inch and there is a "clunk" when vehicle is put into gear mechanic thinks it might be the chain in transfer case or rear differential but is not sure. A smog certificate is provided with the vehicle. Please do not bid if you cannot meet the following requirements. Payment for the vehicle must be received in full by 5:00 PM on June 7, 2016 (or when the vehicle is picked up, whichever is earlier) at our office in Fresno, California in the form of a cashier’s check. The office is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM PST. The vehicle is sold “As Is”, “Where Is” with “No Warranty” what so ever. The buyer must arrange and pay for shipping or pick up the vehicle in the District’s yard in Fresno, California within 7 days of close of auction. License plates have been removed from the vehicle and buyer must obtain any necessary permits to move the vehicle. Since the vehicle is owned by a public agency, the auction must run it’s full term and offers to end the auction early will not be considered. The reserve price has been set at $3,000.
