Details: This motorcycle was has been well kept in a heated basement for many years. The motorcycle was being built for dirt track racing when the original owner's project fell idle many years ago. The bike has a genuine Honda 1982 new replacement engine, and the original owner/builder claims that it has only been fired once (engine is not stuck, has strong compression, but has not been started since we acquired this motorcycle). Bike also has a 'rare' DG Performance gold anodized swingarm. Fuel tank is dry, clean without corrosion, and does NOT smell of varnished fuel. Included with sale are many extras. This motorcycle may not be 100% complete, but it is a very nice survivor and should make a nice restoration project. Additional Details: • New Swallow front tire & new Cheng Shin rear tire. • Maier front & rear fenders in sealed packages. • Ceet replacement seat cover in sealed package. • New chain & sprockets. • Rare DG Performance swingarm in nice shape. • Genuine 1982 Honda replacement engine. • Exhaust pipe & silencer are dent & ding free. • Sunline levers & lever perches. • Clean rims & spokes. • Air fork tubes and triple tree are clean and in nice shape (no leakers), but lower legs clear coating needs attention. • Carburetor has a very clean appearance and intake rubber is nice. • New air filter. • Fuel tank is clean inside, but has exterior has been repainted and has some small light dents (could use restoration). • Frame may have been repainted at one time, but is in excellent condition. • Rear shocks are in nice condition and shafts are corrosion free. • For the most part, all frame hardware in good condition without corrosion. Buyer is responsible for making their own shipping arrangements, and we will not disassemble motorcycle or parts for shipping purposes. We will not palletize motorcycle for freight shipping.
