Vehicle Detail
1976 911 S/RS style hot rod/project. All the pictures posted were taken today May 6th 2016 and depict the current condition of the car/project. It was at one time a running, driving car. I got the car in June of 2012 and was in very sad shape. I drove it that summer before totally dismantling it in Dec. of the same year. I spent the next 8 months working to get it to where it is now (with the exception that it was still running and driving). I drove it for two more summers before taking the engine and transmission out, to have them rebuilt in Nov. 2014. I had to put it off due to health issues and would like to see someone finish it. I am not desperate, I don't need the money. I simply don't want to see it sit forever and not be appreciated for more than just "I own a 911. But I can't drive it"... There is way too much to list. In total there is well over $20K invested. When finished it'll easily be a $40k car. I put it at about 75% done. Keep in mind it is a project, there are odds and ends that need finishing. There are little tedious details that will need attention. Also the engine is totally dismantled and will need to be built. I have all the engine parts, all are in good condition and totally usable. This is a CIS injection car and the system is included. Transmission is the 915 and will need to be gone through, it pops out of third under hard acceleration (like a lot of them do). It comes with factory Carrera seats that need to be redone and there is a Momo hub installed/included, you'll need to provide the steering wheel. I could go on and on but if you'd like more info please email or call (do not text, I don't use text messages as form of communication, if you send one, I won't get it) Arthur 262.751.3386 I am in the US central time zone btw... I have well over 400 more pictures I can send to show where this car was when I got it and the progression to get it to where it is now. Here is where you can see the extra photos... Search Facebook for Notorious Restorations, click photos, click albums then select the "Project Kraut Power" folder... Thank you
