Selling at NO RESERVE! I built this bike from a low mileage "garage sale find" R75/6. It was in great mechanical condition when I got it but the cosmetics were in sad shape. So I tore it down and decided to build a custom cafe racer to have some fun. The bike is loaded with custom features: /7 gas tank with a polished alloy Monza style flip cap, custom made rear subframe, custom made seat (by Sargent, to my specs), custom rear-sets, relocated battery Magura clip-ons, inverted BMW lower triple clamp, custom non-metallic paint (close to the Malaga color that BMW offered on their 2002's of the day), custom rear fender that rides with the rear swingarm, machined front timing cover to accept the cloisonné BMW badge, etc. etc. Everything works as it should. Mechanicals were gone through, wheel bearings serviced, head bearings serviced, splines lubed, etc. tires are barely worn in. Rims are clean and straight. The bikes starts on command, runs and stops strong and rides great, no odd noises, it's a pleasure to ride. Again, this is a no reserve auction, so make sure that you have all approvals from your significant other, and the funds necessary to complete the deal quickly. I can store the bike for some time if you need me to, but you must discuss it with me before the auction ends, and the bike needs to be paid in full. Otherwise, I expect you to complete the transaction within a few days of the auction ending. Wire transfer is preferred.
