Looking for a sporty, reliable, soon to be collectible convertible? This is it! I am selling my 1991 Mercury (Mazda) Capri convertible. This car is really cool, fun, and gets great gas mileage! It needs nothing but a driver. If you don't know about the Mercury Capri, it was built in Australia by Ford and imported to America, but it runs entirely on Mazda mechanicals (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, etc). There were only 21,000 sold worldwide for 1991, and it is the first year of the Capri convertible. It has power steering, windows, mirrors, head lights, A/C, stereo, etc. Everything works as it should. It has a fun and sporty 5-speed transmission. The interior is in excellent shape, and it only has 116,000 miles. It has a back seat, and will fit small children with no problems. The exterior has some cosmetic blemishes, but is ok overall. The top keeps you warm and dry, but the rear window clouded over, so it has been blacked out. The previous owner thought it looked more aesthetically pleasing than a clouded window, and I tend to agree. But, if you're buying this as a fun cruiser, you'll probably never have the top up anyway. Bottom line, this is a fun car that's ready to roll. And, for the price, you'll be hard pressed to find a better, cooler, more fun, reliable daily driver. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
