This is a 2 owner car and has been in the possession of the current owner, my close friend, for the past 20 years, in the title of Manhattan West. This car has interesting history attached to the original owner, a relative of Al Capone. The second owner of the NSX is an adult family man who has owned Porsches, Lotus’s, Bentleys, BMWs and other high end cars. The car has about 56k original miles. It has been stored for several years but run routinely to keep everything functional.It was repainted in 2006. At 53,000 miles it had a new high performance clutch installed. In November of 2014 it had a new battery installed. The car is not stock. It is being sold as is. The car has been professionally modified in 1997 by RM Racing, which was the premiere NSX performance shop based in Phoenix, Arizona. It has had over $8000 worth of performance upgrades including: RM Racing NSX oval exhaust, RM Racing NSX stainless headers, RM Racing NSX NOS kit including carbon fiber intake, RM Racing NSX switch panel (NOS), RM Racing NSX pressure gauge, NOS remote bottle opener, RM Racing computer chip, RM Racing NSX carbon analog gauge cluster, RM Racing NSX brake pads, RM Racing NSX strut bar, RM Racing NSX drilled rotors, BBS three-piece wheels, larger throttle body, suspension, brakes and anti-roll bars.The car is black with black and ivory interior. Leather seats show wear in areas like bolsters where there has been contact with drivers and passengers. The car comes with all stock components to transform it back to original condition to pass California smog test, but original wheels and gauges are not included. The car does not currently have a California smog certificate.Also note that the radio is not operational and there is minor damage to the driver’s side front quarter panel.Car is located in North County San Diego and has been in California for 20 years.Car is sold as is, so please ask questions before bidding.
