95% Complete All Original Dodge Flatbed. I drive this truck around town, but it's certainly still a project.Listed locally, if there are no bids and someone buys it locally, I will end this listing early.If you want it... buy it! Some details....Very little rust. Mostly surface. I couple little rust through spots in the cab near the bench seat. Floor pans and rockers are solid! No rot. California truck.1 Ton DuallyAll new electrical - still a 6 volt system.Original 6 cyl motorOriginal 4 speed manual transmission.Starts up every time. Lots of power up hills in low gear. Decent BrakesNew bed wood and rattle can paint job. Clear California title, current registration until September 2016.A fun kick around town or the ranch truck! Thanks for looking! Please ask questions, I will write back quickly and answer as best I can.Someone asked what "still a project" means to me... here goes...Other than new wiring, this truck is almost all original from what I can tell. The gauge cluster is out of a power wagon. All of the gauges work, but a couple are either out of adjustment or there's something else going on. The temp gauge seems like it reads hot... runs a little over 2/3 after driving around for a while. But if you take the block temp with a laser thermometer, it reads right in the correct zone according to the manual. The oil pressure reads somewhere between 1/2 and 2/3 under normal driving. It drops to about 1/4 on the gauge under heavy load up hill... but maybe that's normal for this old truck. The engine never hesitates and all sounds good. Just things that might want to get checked out. The door windows both roll up and down fine, but the window channels are missing ... so they rattle The tires are old.. like 30 years old. They hold air, but I personally wouldn't drive a long distance on them. The horn button on the steering wheel is missing and the horn itself needs new wiring. A previous owner added a toggle switch for the horn and it works sometimes. When it does, it sounds awesome! So I guess, just little things here and there... depends what you want to do with it.
