-1967 Ford F-100, original paint (Wimbledon white) and interior, built at the Minneapolis plant in Jan. '67. -3 speed on the column. Original engine was a 240 six, now has an early 70s 300 six; unknown miles on engine. Truck itself has 97K. -Typical Ford rust, but nothing terrible. The cab mounts and hood hinge mounts are still good. Some rust on lower fenders and doors. The box is solid, NO RUST THROUGH on the bed. It actually holds water. Some good patina going on with the original paint. Only 1 dent in the tailgate, and one in the grill. The box is almost immaculate. I don't think anyone ever hauled anything other than light materials (I use it to haul grass and branches). -Things I have done to improve the truck:-new oil pan and gasket-Pertronix electronic ignition upgrade with 40K volt coil-new cap and rotor, plugs and plug wires-radiator flush with new hoses, coolant, thermostat and thermostat housing-new exhaust manifold (intake was sandblasted and painted)-remanufactured carb with manual choke-new pcv valve and rubber line-new fan belt-new battery cables-alternator tested (charges battery-battery is good)-brakes were done by previous owner not long before I purchased it (they work excellent)-oil bath cleaned Tires are fair. They have good tread but are weather checked. Driver's rear has a tube in it. Has original hubcaps all the way around along with the wheel rings. Exhaust is solid all the way back. Truck runs very quiet. Engine miles unknown, but runs very strong, does not smoke, no weird noises. Starts perfectly every time, runs absolutely perfect. Shifts thru all the gears great, and drives down the road nice and smooth, doesn't pull or bounce around. Heater works excellent. Door locks work. Lights and blinkers work. Brake light switch is bad: the lights come on when you step on the brakes, but the harder you push the lights then go out. Will need a new switch. Fuel gauge does not work. AM radio works but is not hooked up. There is a mess of wires hanging that the previous owner had an FM radio/CD player hooked up to. Manual steering and brakes. Has a tow hitch. Has a sliding rear window (not original). Will need new wipers. Original floor mat. Has only 1 small cigarette burn in the seat (driver's side). There is one major problem with the truck. The rear main leaks. It started leaking about a month after I had installed the new oil pan. It hardly leaks at low speeds, but will leak much more at highway speeds. I have not dealt with the situation because I only use the truck to haul brush, etc. to the city compost which is half a mile from my property. It will need to be fixed if you plan on using the truck at highway speeds. Just being honest. With the rear main fixed I would not hesitate to drive the truck anywhere; I am that confident in how reliable it is and how well it runs. There is no warranty on the truck, I'm selling it as-is.
