Attention Collectors and Vintage Racers! Here it is- The famous Honda CR250R Elsinore- The bike that made Honda's motocross racing the legend that it is- Super nice condition with room for improvement. Second owner of this rare 1979 CR250R Elsinore witch came into my poses ion aprox- 20 plus years ago from the mother of the original owner who died prematurely- He enjoyed riding the bike on the beach near Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn NY. The bike had already been sitting over 10 years when I came upon it. The condition of the bike at that time showed minor signs of sand abrasion but after a fresh tank of gas started right up- I began restoration with a complete professional frame repaint, new fenders, seat cover, ect. The bike has the original front tire that it left the showroom with. There is a small dent in the gas tank and muffler that is hard to see in the photos. I had the bike hung from the rafters in my man cave the whole time I owned it (included in the pictures)were it was always an attention getter. It was stored there completely dry of fluids and when oiled up, fueled- started on the 4th kick- The bike runs excellent and shifts through the gears smoothly as one would expect. Space has gotten tight in the garage, and now its time for someone else to enjoy her--- All questions answered-- I want the next owner to feel confident with the purchase and I tried to show all angles of view with my pics- Happy bidding!!
