LESS THAN 7K MILES, IMMACULATE CONDITION 2008 CUSTOM SL-550 CONVERTIBLE I am the second owner of this car. I bought it on Ebay from the original owner in Key Largo, Florida with 2500 miles on it. He was a big-time boat dealer and this was his date-night car. He kept it in his air-conditioned boat showroom. He had it transported in an enclosed car transport to Orlando where he went for vacations. The car originally cost about $110k, and when it was new he took it to a Miami customizing shop, where they tricked it out with 3 - piece Asanti wheels, a low-rider suspension, custom JL Audio sound system, rear spoiler, and custom black interior with red/black leather seats (altogether about 20k of work according to him, which I believe). So for me, it has continued to be a date night, Sunday afternoon car, and I think there is not a better looking one in Tulsa, at least. It has been kept in my air conditioned garage at home. I have kept it up to date with service through the local Mercedes dealer. And the body is very close to perfect. To my knowledge the car has never been driven in the rain, or dusty conditions. It is showroom clean, and has stayed that way. I purchased an extended warranty from our local Mercedes dealer, which is valid until December 9, 2016. It is transferrable to a buyer (if the buyer is an individual, not a dealer) for a fee of $100, which I will pay if the car sells for the buy it now price. This will give the buyer some piece of mind. All of the original manuals and literature in a leather binder is provided, as well as two keyless entry keys. In addition, a custom made dust cover is provided, as well as two sets of floor mats (summer) and winter (which are brand new). I considered an AMG-55 at the time I bought this car. I couldn't find one at the time that looked anywhere as nice as this car. Let me tell you, this car will snap your head back on take off. I couldn't have used any extra horsepower where I live, it was way more than enough. If your not familiar with the SL convertibles, the automation of the hard-top retraction is amazing. Its fast enough that you can do it at a stop light! And when you go in for a drink, you can close the top just as fast, so as not to leave the interior baking in the sun, or at the mercy of deviants.
