This van was basically used to haul the troops from Texas and Arkansas to North Dakota and back, hence the mileage which is probably a lot of freeway riding. Don't be afraid of the mileage, these vans are super tough and this one has a long ways to go yet. Whether you need to haul people in all weather, or you want to pull the interior apart to build a camping van, this is a great choice and the price is very low for a new body style XLT Quigley.  exterior The truck is in good overall shape and it appears to be original. The paint still has pretty fair gloss, there's no body rust like east coast or great lakes vehicles and no obvious damage. It's seen some dirt roads, undercarriage is dirty, but it's not totally caked in mud. The paint on the diffs, etc, is chipped up as you'd expect from the mileage. The van has good rubber, wheels look fine, and we're replacing the windshield with a brand new one, has a few chips. The doors all open and close fine, bumpers look decent, overall a very presentable van especially for having some mileage. The rear left door does have a ding under the glass, and the front doors have been popped at some point so it has the typical bow under each side mirror, but it's not too obvious. interior We brought the van in, stripped the interior, pressure washed all seating, carpet, allowed to dry in sun for 3 days, then replaced everything. It has new padding under the carpet, and there's no rips in the drivers seat. There are a few burn marks in the carpet and one on a back bench. The van does have a real 258k miles so it's not new or perfect, but it's been pulled apart and well detailed, then put back together, so it's tidy inside and doesn't reek of smoke, nor did it when we bought it. Everything works inside, air blows cold. mechanical This van drives great, I've put 300 miles on it running around and have been very happy with it. It's well mannered on the highway, front end is tight, it shifts great, motor sounds fine, and 4x4 works like a charm in the snow. I drove it in the last snow storm and it just kept rolling. We've changed the oil, filter, and took care of a couple minor things, but this van just came in needing very little, tires still have good tread, not even a low tire pressure light on the dash, darn thing is even riding on Bilstein shocks. It's perfectly fine to drive anywhere in the country, fly in and drive home if you like. comments This is a neat van and a good buy.
