This 1940 Ford Deluxe is a beautifully restored sedan. It has a rebuilt Flathead V8 engine with steel sleeves. There are 1,500 miles on the rebuilt engine. Most flatheads overheat, however this problem was solved (even with the air conditioner operating). It has a new paint job with extensive primer and paint with clear coat. The interior has Tan Naugahyde with rebuilt seats, door panels, and ceiling with Forrest Green carpet inside. It has a new clutch with a rebuilt transmission as well. This car has been rewired front to rear with a 12-volt system and a 12-volt battery. It is equipped with a radio, dashboard clock, and upgraded digital dashboard instrument panel with the following gauges: temperature, oil pressure, gasoline, odometer, speedometer, and charging. With a rebuilt Fuel Pump this Ford has some new additions which include radiator, alternator, compressor, steering wheel, and air conditioning. This Ford does have original style new Radial tires with tubes. Chrome and aluminum trim are in excellent condition. The running boards were replaced and it has exhaust and muffler system. All windows and door glass has been replaced and it has all new rubber moldings. Windows, doors, and handles of this Sedan are fully operative. The trunk is tight and carpeted. The body (including the fenders) are in excellent shape. There is no rust anywhere. I have had this Deluxe garage kept and I am a non smoker.
