Vehicle Detail

I bought this car about 2 years ago as a project and its time to let it go. I have done a lot of work to it so I am going to go step by step. I will be completely honest and as descriptive as I can so you know exactly what your bidding on. Exterior Obviously it needs paint. There is one dent on the front passenger side fender but the rest of the car has typical door dings. The sunroof did not work when I bought it and most X300 Jaguars have broken ones. I bought 3 from salvage yards and put one together that works. I had the panel painted and it works and looks great. I recommend using a silicone lubricant on it often. The mirrors had a lot of rock chips so I put the chrome covers on them that the Vanden Plas usually have. Interior Drivers seat is very worn and has several rips, all of the other seats are good. Steering wheel is in awesome condition. I replaced a few wood pieces that I found on the UK Ebay site, so now the wood is perfect. Door panels are in good shape but the headliner could be replaced soon, its hanging in some places. Wheels and tires Wheels are freaking awesome. I like wide tires so I had the factory rear wheels widened 2". The factory wheels are 17" x 8" but now the rear wheels are 17" x 10". I then had them chrome plated by CaliChrome and they are flawless. I mean absolutely perfect. I had them done a few months ago and put new tires on. Bridgestone 285-40-17 in rear and 255-45-17 in front. Brakes The brakes are all new and stop the car on a dime. New Raybestos Advanced rotors, Akebono ceramic pads, all new rubber brake lines, ect. Power steering These stupid cars leak power steering fluid all the time and so did this one when I got it. I replaced the rack, pump and all 5 lines at a considerable cost and a long weekend but this car no longer leaks power steering fluid. Driveline I replaced the transmission mount and just recently changed the fluid and filter. The trans is a GM 4L80E like the ones found in a Tahoe or Suburban. Since day one it has leaked and I cant find out why. It shifts perfectly and stays cool but leaks. Sometimes it leaks on my driveway which is annoying but sometimes it leaks when going down the road and gets on the exhaust pipes then burns off which then pisses me off. Suspension This is the best handling X300 in the damn world, or at least I think so. I put a lot of effort in the suspension and could write a book but here is a quick rundown. All bushings were replaced with poly bushes from England $700.00. All new Bilstein shocks $500. H & R performance springs $300. The springs are 40mm lower than factory but the car is no lower than it was with the old sagging suspension. Doing all of this work was hard as hell but was worth it. It is literally on of the best handling cars I have ever owned (I currently drive a 2007 BMW 750LI). You will not be disappointed. Engine The car has over 215K but runs really good. I put in brand new coils, all good ones with the Japan stamp like originals. It has the Andy's bracket. You might have to google that one. It is vey powerful and smooth. It does skip a little bit after warming up but I have not figured that out yet. It feels like a coil is bad again but not sure. It does not use any oil. I recently changed the supercharger oil and it sounds fine. Its a Eaton M90 and should last forever. The emission light is not on and it passed last year with no problem. The low coolant light is on but the coolant is not low so I guess its a bad sensor. Radio Alpine CD player , PPI 6.5" components in front and rear doors, 400w amp. Accessories I replaced the Thermostat control panel with a brand new one and had the LCD clock rebuilt with a lifetime warranty. The headlights are now L.E.D. and I replaced the trunk lights that always fall out with new L.E.D lights that will not fall out. New Duracell battery in trunk and new LLoyds floor mats. The AC was the best and coldest I ever had but for some reason it stopped working over the winter. The power door locks stopped working for some reason. Windows work fine. I have a chrome Nardi shift knob in it but I do have the original wood one too. Please ask if you have any questions. Please do not bid unless you are going to buy. $200 PayPal deposit after auction ends. I'm located in Sharpsbug, GA
