Auction is for 1988 Pontiac Fiero Automatic 2-door 2-seater Candy Apple Red vehicle purchased used in 1996 from the second owner. Driven for 10 years accident free. Car has been non active since 2008. This not a GT.Body Condition: substantial paint wear/fading on top surfaces (hood, trunk and roof), recent crack in windshield, plastic weatherstrip around driver’s side window frame partially missing, back plastic Pontiac logo not intact (have pieces). Interior: Upholstery primarily in good to excellent condition. Driver’s side upper seat has tear and lower seat has visible wear on side. Passenger seat upholstery in excellent condition as is all dashboard material and vinyl. Mechanical: 4 cylinder automatic. Was running when parked. Has not been driven, but engine is free. Needs complete overhaul, battery and tires. Needs thorough cleaning and detailing. Registration: Currently registered "Non Op" and is not street legal (except, of course, on tow truck). When originally purchased, major overhaul and extensive replacement of all rubber was undertaken. Regular maintenance was continued until stored. All maintenance records included. Auction includes Haynes repair manual and original owner’s manual. This car has not been in an accident while in current ownership, but was backed into while parked. All repairs were completed by at fault driver’s insurance.Photos: The vehicle was unfortunately pushed near foliage so photos were taken from all visible and accessible points. Removal to be made within one week of auction end unless otherwise arranged with seller. We will not release vehicle to just a transporter.
