This ex-Texas Rover is begging to be restored! Bought it for my son and put about 7K into rehabbing the mechanicals @ GLB Motorworks (have receipts). Was going to get it painted and do the (minor) bodywork when wife vetoed the project as no ABS or airbags (way more reliable in my opinion) . So my loss is your gain. Has new 4,6 litre engine and upgraded gearbox from a late Discovery, new exhaust, brakes, tyres, steering gearbox, shocks, springs, control arms, 2" lift. Really drives like a new 1989 Rover! Unbelievably it does not leak anything! (yes it does have oil in it) Lots of goodies like Safari Guard snorkel, Roof rack, rock sliders, Terra Firma front bumper with winch, etc Maybe most importantly this is a "dry" car, no rust to deal with! Needs paint, electrical stuff (2 windows,SR, locks) a little dent/scratch repair, some interior freshening and it'll be great! 7-10k max and you have a $20,000 rig.
