1997 Suzuki tl1000s Sport Bike . Bike was consistantly used for highway commuting from Hemet to San Marcos, and leisurely mountain road travels to Sage and Idyllwild. Bike is mechanically sound but is cosmetically flawed as depicted in pics from low speed crash last Oct. "as if I needed ANOTHER reason to hate cats...lol." However, no injuries and the bike faired very well. I am the third owner, it has under 20k miles, the tires have over 50% left. Post accident- I replaced the mirrors, brake lever. Prior to- I replaced the turn signals (front and back), also has a new stator, battery (6mo ago) & regulator. All maintenance was completed on time and currently up- to-date including regular oil changes & chain clean & lube every 3k-4k miles. Bike starts every time, and runs good. It's a fun bile, with quick responses and a narrow body for navigating traffic. Great first bike for new riders yet powerful enough to appease even the most experienced riders.
