For sale is a very dry Ford F600 Cab Over truck. It’s a 1955. Clear Title will make it easy to plate in any state, or export. This F600 is a 2 1/2 ton chassis with the Ford Y Block V-8 motor, 292 ci. Dually rear wheels with 2 speed axle. This has the original V8 that came with it. Everything is there and complete under the hood. Truck is currently NOT running. Reported to have ran when parked, but I haven't tried to start it. Has a clean and ready to go carb, spare carb bolted on for now to keep the other carb clean. Body is good condition, as shown, left front fender is dented, new hard to find replacement is included. (See Pic). The hood is missing part of the emblem on the passenger side. Also, the hood hinges are all there but a couple of the bolts have sheared, so extra set of hinges are included. Windshield and back glass are good with no cracks. Side vents good, side driver glass cracked, side passenger is out. Dash is complete and in good shape with all instruments, uncut, knobs and ignition installed. Seats are there, no padding on the lower part. Floors are in good shape and the engine cover is all there. See the photos for the cab corners. Drivers side lower has a little rust and scrapes, it's repairable as-is or use the included repair panel. Good original front bumper. The back tires have very good remaining tread and all tires hold air. Someone tried to get the front 2 lug nuts off with an impact and broke them but those are easy to find (All trucks of this type have Left hand threads on the drivers side) The gas tank needs refurbishing, it's currently out of the truck, but I have all the brackets and pieces included. The rear driveshaft has a small kink in it, so plan on replacing that. There is also a PTO output and PTO shaft included. I can see this truck being taken in a few directions, any of them could turn out really cool... 1. Take it as it is, work on the drivability, put on a flatbed and it's a nice and complete patina ranch/farm/shop truck. 2. Install a winch behind the cab and a flatbed and make it a car hauler. 3. Go Cab Over hot rod style and drop a dodge diesel or similar in it and make it a custom car hauler, or ad a pickup bed for a lowrider style. Ask questions before bidding if you are unsure.
