Vehicle Detail
1956 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery project - no eng or trans - 2 frames - 1 is stock with newer style side mount motor mounts - it has a trans crossmember for T350 or T400 - it has the original stock rearend - the 2nd frame is narrowed at the rear for pro-street look - narrowed frame has front disc - brand new tires and wheels - front tires are 165 - 80R - 15, rears are 29 x 18.5 - 15 Mickey Thompson - the body is sitting on the stock frame with new body mounts and bolts so that the new floor could be set with the body - the body was on the narrowed frame when I got it The front fenders, doors, rear liftgate, hood and radiator support have been media blasted and primed - the rest of the body was stripped by the previous owner and primed but it was left outside - almost all of the primer is gone and the body is all surface rust - as you will see in the pics the sheet metal is fairly solid - there are only a few rust through spots after media blasting - a new floor has been installed in the front section - it is screwed in with tech screws around the perimeter - not welded in yet- the rocker panel on the pass. side has been installed but not welded - the drivers side rocker will have to be removed and new one installed - I have that rocker - the rear floor and wheel wells were removed by the previous owner so new wheel tubs will have to be made if using the narrowed frame - Danchuck sells replacement wheel wells for wagons if you want to stay original - I have the S.S. body moldings for both sides - excellent condition - I have new door glass only - no windshield or rear glass - I do not have the bumpers - I have a patch panel for the quarter panel area right behind the drivers door
