This auction listing is for a non-smoker 2003 Subaru H6-3.0 AWD Outback wagon. The miles are highway miles. These wagons are rated at 27mpg Highway and 21mpg City. I have been averaging 25mpg City & Highway combined. The body is in good condition with no rust. It has the normal scuffs and minor scratches. The car wasn’t washed when the photos were taken. The 6 cylinder engine utilizes a timing chain, not a timing belt, so there’s no belt to replace unlike Subaru Outbacks with a 4 cylinder engine. This car has been well maintained (frequent oil changes, fuel filter replacement, etc.). AC blows cold, and heater blows hot. It runs strong with a smooth shifting transmission. This is one of the most reliable vehicles out there. With regular preventative maintenance you can get many miles out this car. The transmission and front differential only have approximately 100,000 miles on them. One month ago the Serpentine Drivebelt was replaced along with the Idler Pulley, and the Automatic Tensioner. The Fuel Filter was just replaced as well. Also, the Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder has recently been replaced. The battery is an Optima Red-Top, and is a little over one year old. The snow tires are a few months old, and are in good condition. The NYS Safety/Emissions Inspection is valid until the end of March 2016. I’m selling the wagon because I no longer need it. I was using it for auto parts delivery. This would make a good daily driver vehicle, or an excellent second vehicle, or great work vehicle with the spacious cargo area.
