1997 Mustang GT - Black W/ Chameleon Paint Accents on Hood and Doors in the Saleen style. Paint job was very expensive and looks great for 15 years old. Has light hail damage from being in the Midwest and got stuck outside in a bad storm. Was upsetting since the car was in a garage all the time. Light hail damage on the trunk, top, quarter panels, fenders, and moldings around the Windows. Everything else is fiberglass. Rebuilt Title was from the car getting totaled out in 1998 shortly after the original owner purchased the car and was side swiped on the passenger side. The current front end damage happened a couple years back.The radiator housing got bent back an inch or so causing the aftermarket hood not too latch properly. I had to install hood pins so I could commute to and from Phoenix. The entire front is a little off centered and will need to be straightened up or cut off at the welds and a new radiator support re-welded on. The engine is in perfect condition minus the radiator reservoirs clips snapping. Cowl Induct Hood ready for supercharger. Full Saleen Body Kit Minus the front bumper, has a stock bumper on there right now.There are normal dings/scratches and the roofs clear coat is bubbling Rear bumper has 2 cracks from the glue coming loose underneath and water catching inside the bumper and ripping it back during the same bad storm involving the hail damage. Passenger door trim is cracked. Passenger side quarter panel has a good size door ding right at the top of the wheel well. -Short Throw racing Shifter -3.73 Limited Rear Slip Differential Gears - Brembo Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors - Chrome Cobra R Rep. Rims 18x9 in the back, 17x9 in the front -Bassani X-Pipe & Borla Exhaust cat-back(Sounds Incredible and one of a kind!)- Trunk is off a 1996 Cobra-Cobra Badging- Charcoal/Gray cloth interior, excellent condition minus driver seat which needs replaced.@*The right side of the trunk was partially dismantled to fix a draw in the system, was a backup battery that went bad.-The car has sound killing material all around the car (Dynamat;Spray Foam) ***NOTICE: ALL ELECTRICAL/STEREO EQUIPMENT PICTURED IN THE TRUNK IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE, EVERYTHING HAS BEEN REMOVED AND THE BOX HAS BEEN RE-ASSEMBLED AND WIRED AND READY FOR 2 - 12" SUBWOOFERS*** ***Bads***(Besides the body issues stated above)-Car started to have fuel pump issues before I parked the car. The car starts up and runs great(been starting it every couple days and letting it run)but after driving it a little past 20mph it will start to lose fuel pressure and "bog" down. ***When the car is started and running I have been getting clear gauges, no check engine light present. -The power windows and power locks relay(s) went out. I was told that it should be the same relay for both issues. I just don't have the time or patience to go through and find and test all the relays. The driver side window is stuck partially down. But I have been keeping a car cover on it. -Needs 2 new front tires and one new front rim. -Needs 1 new headlight, cover came off. Would replace both. The headlight nose panel HAS been replaced with a new one. -Clearcoat is bubbling in many spots around the car, trunk, quarter panels, fenders, roof(worst spot) This car was once a show car and I am definitely underselling it. This could be a great project car for someone with the space and time. Very fun car and big attention grabber. I hate to let someone else have this car.My intentions were to fix it up then came across the '97 Cobra I've been looking for. There car is much nicer in person and there are still a lot of extras not mentioned. **I have the entire folder of receipts for everything on this car from the paint to every engine/exhaust upgrade and all Audio equipment.** Please feel free to contact me for any questions
