Those of you who recall the Epic Rock band KISS will no-doubt remember Gene Simmons touting “You wanted the best? You GOT the best”, and that is exactly what this Bronco is! Body is all steel with the exception of the little venter hood scoop, and it is solid, clean, and straight. The body, paint, and finish on the Bronco is what you would expect of an almost 6-figure build, and it really shows even better in person than in the 100 photos you will see under the DESCRIPTION part of this listing. A few minor blemishes from 1,000-odd miles of normal driving can be found if you really start digging, but nothing that detracts from the overall show-car level presentation it has. Being a frame off build, the body was completely disassembled from the chassis, walnut blasted, cleaned, and prepped before the multiple coats of PPG Copper Sunburst finish was professionally applied. It was reassembled with all new hardware, and the fender flares were painted as well, and installed with new welting. This Bronco has a power hood, which is activated from inside the vehicle. It has two electric struts that raise or lower the hood in just a few seconds, and blows people away at car shows! Grill is new, and was sprayed in Anthracite metallic before being installed with new headlamps, trim rings, and marker lights. Chrome front and rear bumpers were new, and still show the dang sticker residue on the back from the manufacturer! The soft top on the Bronco is a neutral color KAYLINE FastTrack system unit, and it works great and has a clean, finished look you don’t see on the cheaper BeStop brand tops. The track system avoids having to put ugly looking snaps in the body, and it can be completely removed if you want to install a hardtop down the road. The windows on it are clean and clear, and it shows only the lightest signs of wear from being used. Back window unzips and rolls up quick and easy, and thanks to all new seals and weather stripping on the Bronco, it stays pretty weather-tight too! All of the badging and emblems on the Bronco are new, as are the door handles, fuel caps, and mirrors. The flip-up license plate bracket on the back of the Bronco is so you can still show the plate legally even with the tail gate down! Glass is in great condition with no cracks, chips, or laminate issues. All the window seals, scrapers, regulators, and runners are new or like new as well. It rides on 17” show-polished 8-hole aluminum rims that are super clean, damage and issue free, and gleam like chrome in the sunshine! They are wrapped in monster Mickey Thompson BAJA MTZ radials, size 33x12.50R17LT that are like new with only about 1,000 miles on them. Look at the 100 photos. Underneath, the frame was stripped and fitted with practically everything they have for Bronco’s in the James Duff catalog, including: *QUAD Auto-Adjust 70/30 shocks out back. *3.5” lift 4 stage progressive rate coil springs *Adjustable radius arm drop brackets *6.25° 14 piece Bushing Kit *Large soft-ride springs *Track Bar Drop Bracket *U-Bolts *Stage 2 long-travel shock mounts *Stage two long-travel shock hoops up front *Urethane shackle bushings *Steering stabilizer and mounting brackets *Body lift kit and hardware *E-Brake cable *New bushings, bearings, fittings, hardware, brackets, tie rods, drag links, pitman arm, driveshaft and axle U-joints, and more! This thing is set up right, and is an absolute dream to drive on the highway, in town, or in the boonies. I took it off-road and it just goes wherever you want to, and has more than enough ability and agility to get you into, and out of, trouble. It still shows super clean and nice underneath, even though we have not professionally detailed it, and I think that once you get it home, pressure wash it, and wipe off all the nooks and crannies, you will be even happier with how it looks! Power comes from a new FORD RACING 302ci V8 motor that was professionally built for the Bronco and has been rated at 425hp on pump gas. We run a mix of 3 parts non-ethanol 90 octane and 1 part 110 racing fuel in our carburetor equipped vehicles, and it seems to really be happy with it, so it might be pushing a tad bit more power with the special “GO FAST JUICE”! The motor and engine compartment still looks like new, and the even the headers show only the faintest sign of use! It is clean, clean, clean, and once you detail it, it will show even nicer! There is nothing under the hood that wasn’t new during the build, and it all looks fantastic today, from the polished intake to the ribbed valve covers and everything in between. New power brake booster supplies power to the front disc/ rear drum system with 60/40 bias modulator, and the new power steering pump makes turning a breeze. A serpentine belt system was installed for single-belt convenience and reliability, and it has all the billet pulleys and mounts you could ask for to look good at your local cruise night too. Chrome alternator, show-polished A/C compressor, and show polished Holley cross ram intake all add to the show-car side of the Bronco, and even the BeCOOL radiator was polished and cleared before being installed! Again, like the rest of the truck, it shows a little dirt from being driven 1,000 miles, but I am 100% positive that once you take the time to clean all the nooks and crannies and wipe things down, this engine bay will snag you a trophy at most car shows! This beast sounds amazing, thanks to the custom fabricated X-PIPE exhaust system with box-style racing mufflers and custom coated headers. It has a nice, low rumble at idle, a wicked little crack when you tap the exhaust, and a killer sound under full-throttle that lets you know those 425 horses are with you all the way! The original Toploader RAT C2 transmission was completely rebuilt by Key Motorsports, including new Input Bearing, Output Bearing, Rear Extension Housing & Bushing, Countershaft Bearing, Front Input Seal, Synchro Rings, and all new gaskets. Fully synchronized except for reverse, it shifts smooth, solid, and sure and is probably the finest operating toploader I have had the pleasure to drive. If they all worked this good, people would still want them in new cars! The front DANA 44 axle was completely rebuilt, and has power disc brakes, while the rear end is a FORD 9” unit with Rockwell gearing and new drum brakes. A Dana SPICER Model 20 transfer case was completely redone and shifts perfectly from the stock T-handle shifter. The 4wd system is fully functional as of the date of this listing, and has no known issues or faults. The interior of the Bronco is extremely nice, and is just a quick detail and clean from being ready for the show circuit. The entire floor was covered with heat shield insulation and padding before a custom cut and finished automotive specific carpet was installed. The carpeting is deep loop, looks fantastic, and is banded and trimmed throughout as well as having a brushed steel carpet edge trim kit installed on the sides and back. It still shows as new. Custom fabricated rear side panels are fit with 6x9 speakers which sound fantastic. They look amazing, and are secured with stainless screws and grommets. The seats are new ProCAR RALLY Series units in black leather. The Rally features vertical stitching for a vintage look with a pronounced side bolstering for added support under hard cornering. Features include a full reclining seat back for comfort adjustment, adjustable locking headrest for safety and support and precision injected foam body for design and durability to hold up to the harshest of road environments. They still look and feel like new seats, and have full fore and aft adjustability as well. Door panels are painted body color on the outside, with a center gray panel that looks fantastic. Armrests, handle pockets, window rollers, stop straps, and associated hardware are all in exception condition. Door sills have billet aluminum sill plates installed with black BRONCO script that looks fantastic! 4-point roll cage is functional as well as good-looking, and is painted to match. The carpeting has been carefully trimmed and banded around the base plates for a finished look. Tailgate back panel was left uncarpeted and treated to a light coat or Rhino Lining so it can be used for drink coolers, as a table, or even a workbench without fear of damaging or staining carpet. You can see in the photos that the gate is rust, rot, and issue free, and it works perfectly with its new hinges and handle. Dash is clean and basically stock in appearance. It has a functional glove box with the relay and fuse panel installed in it, and storage for the stereo remote control. The stereo is a brand new Pioneer unit with AM-FM-CD-BLUETOOTH-iPhone/iPod, and USB/AUX ports. It sounds fantastic, and you can use it to stream your phone too! Ashtray is intact and functional, as are the stock style switches for the headlamps, flashers, and electric wipers. Climate controls are above the radio and allow adjustment of the Vintage Air Generation II SlimLine system with 4 micro vents located beneath the dash. It works fantastic, and has been R134A from the manufacturer through to installation. The MSD box is mounted on the center tunnel beneath that, and the carpeting was banded and trimmed around it for a clean and sano look. The stock style gas tank selector works and controls which of the two tanks it draws from. I have tried both with success, but only have been using the front for our local cruising and trips. Steering column is stock, and fitted with a clean, 3-spoke leather wrapped thin band wheel which is perfect for this Bronco. The gauge pod itself is original, but the surround, trim, and backing plates were all refurbished to give it a new look. All of the gauges appear to be functional. Horn, signals, head lamps, tail lamps, brake lights, and hazards all work. New pedals were installs, and the E-Brake is fully functional as well. Of course the wiring was all new, and includes the aforementioned modern fuse box and relay panel. It drives and performs exceptionally well. Basically like what it would be if FORD made a Bronco today, without all the electronic gimmick stuff we dumb down our cars with in the day and age. I have driven in the dirt, on the highway, and in town, and it does it all without issue or complaint. I handles great, starts great, runs great, and does everything else the way you would an almost 6-figure build to do things. I don’t know what else to really tell you.
