1988 BMW R65 Cafe Racer Very smart airhead that has been gone through top to bottom, fully serviced and ready to ride. This is really a great motorcycle, the R65 is set in a slightly smaller frame than the others, I'm 6'00 and it's the perfect size. Nimble and spritely, the 650cc has no problem accelerating aggressively and keeping up speed. The new tailpipes provide a throaty exhaust note, but also provide enough back pressure to keep the power up. Combined with a new air filter, and rebuilt, sync'd carbs this thing breathes easily and runs like clockwork. A custom seat and rear subframe set the cafe racer aesthetic, combined with new low euro bars the riding position is balanced and comfortable. The hand controls have been serviced and refinished, new gran turismo grips and bar end signals finish the classic BMW look. Custom headlight bucket with integrated tach and pilot lights, H4 headlight and stock Bosch glass lens. New AGM gel battery and Metzler tires.
