Destined for collector-value greatness, some of these bikes already have $15,000 asking prices! Being offered is a 1990 USA model in factory code: (657) Laguna Blue Metallic. Created by BMW as a high-speed sports-tourer, the K1 was designed for comfortable high-speed Autobahn cruising at speeds of up to 150 mph (240 km/h). The radical aerodynamic design was a seven piece glass fiber structure creating a class leading drag coefficient of 0.38! Really low, and some say the K1 actually reached 160mph in testing. All on only 1000cc's! So as not to be inundated with endless email questions, let me state, there are NO issues with this bike! NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE. This BMW motorcycle has 50,000 actual miles and is operating flawlessly. Why wouldn't it operate flawlessly? Anyone with K-Bike knowledge, knows this is baby-mileage for the bullet-proof K-Series!
