My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2001 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 Sport with just 147k miles. As you know, the Jeep Cherokee is a rugged and reliable SUV that is simple and capable. I would rate the exterior of this Cherokee to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a decent looking older Jeep. As with most older vehicles, please expect a few scratches and other imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Jeep, there are multiple scratches here and there and the nose piece shows a little fading from age...nothing big. Overall, the paint shines nicely for its age. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Looking around the body, I didn't notice any rust. The factory five spoke wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread all around. There is also a trailer hitch at the rear for towing. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show a few stains from age but look good, overall. The seats also show a few normal stains from age but aren't worn excessively. The power windows and locks work properly. The original cassette player has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player, which appears to be working properly. This Cherokee has the optional rear soundbar, too. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows cold and the heater works great. The original owers manual is included. The cargo area shows a few normal stains, which sould be expected at this age. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine doesn't smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking both feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. The radiator is new, as is the brake booster. The engine makes excellent power and feels strong. The oil pressure needle moves around with engine speed...which is very, very important as these age. There have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The 4WD system is tested (thanks to the recent blizzard) and is working properly. The only bad things I can say about it is that the muffler has a small hole in it (not too loud but you can hear it if you listen) and the belt squeaks occasionally. All in all, not too bad for an older Jeep. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2001 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 Sport with just 147k miles. As you know, the Jeep Cherokee is a rugged and reliable SUV that is simple and capable. I would rate the exterior of this Cherokee to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a decent looking older Jeep. As with most older vehicles, please expect a few scratches and other imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Jeep, there are multiple scratches here and there and the nose piece shows a little fading from age...nothing big. Overall, the paint shines nicely for its age. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Looking around the body, I didn't notice any rust. The factory five spoke wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread all around. There is also a trailer hitch at the rear for towing. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.
I would also rate the interior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show a few stains from age but look good, overall. The seats also show a few normal stains from age but aren't worn excessively. The power windows and locks work properly. The original cassette player has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player, which appears to be working properly. This Cherokee has the optional rear soundbar, too. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows cold and the heater works great. The original owers manual is included. The cargo area shows a few normal stains, which sould be expected at this age.
Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine doesn't smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking both feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. The radiator is new, as is the brake booster. The engine makes excellent power and feels strong. The oil pressure needle moves around with engine speed...which is very, very important as these age. There have been no idiot lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The 4WD system is tested (thanks to the recent blizzard) and is working properly. The only bad things I can say about it is that the muffler has a small hole in it (not too loud but you can hear it if you listen) and the belt squeaks occasionally. All in all, not too bad for an older Jeep. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
