I'm the original owner, and I've had to get a newer car. Three kids now, and my commute these days is through too much traffic to drive a manual transmission. The car was sideswiped outside my home, causing cosmetic damage on the driver side and some mechanical damage. The mechanical repairs were done by a top notch shop near my home (Solesbee Auto in Yorba Linda). I didn't see the point in having the cosmetic repairs done. The door was replaced, and the vehicle has been buffed. (The hood is quite faded, but the vehicle comes with a VW bra/hood cover.) In the time I've driven the car, I've averaged 38mpg in the city and nearly 50 on the highway. It still runs very well. I've replaced the headliner, the windshield is brand new, the stereo has been upgraded to play MP3s and iPods. The interior is quite clean and very comfortable. The AC syatem leaks, but I haven't spent money to find the leak or repair it. I'm a teacher, so I don't drive this much in the summer. Registration paid up to 10/2016. No warranty stated or implied. Buyer understands that this is a used vehicle, so it is sold as is.
