If you want one of the nicest looking and running Classic V8 powered CJ5  on this planet, read on =  This Jeep is a  True Factory RENEGADE with LEVI option.  Jeep had all it's original paint and factory decals on it before restoration = SEE PHOTO'S and VIDEO. Jeep still even retains it's original 40 year old LEVI dash pad with no cracks as well as many other original items 40 years later. This Jeep has been well cared for and adult owned "not abused".  Buyer can also have the original seats removed from Jeep in Levi blue = SEE VIDEO.  A nicer set of "new" Jeep bucket seat's installer that will adjust on rails for more leg room. This is West Coast desert Jeep that is rust free inside and out. ( Classic Jeep History at it's best ) Jeep retains all it's original body metal, no metal patch work required in restoration & that's rare for any vehicle 40 years old. Jeep was just repainted for the "first time" using original factory paint color of  76-78 Jeep Brilliant Blue =  Paint code R-6 . Paint ID 44117. same as factory ID tag. The factory OEM Jeep and Levi logo re installed after paint work.  The big RENEGADE Logo left off hood . Most Jeep owners don't like big decals covering hood. But can be installed if new owner see's fit. Jeep was color sanded and buffed to a nice wet shine finish and it look's very nice. The inside of Jeep was also gutted and finished in a " water proof / rust proof "color match Blue Raptor armor to keep the inside floor's nice for many years to come. Roll Cage also removed and color matched.  Heater work's great and will cook you out of cab area if on high. Two speed wipers work - inside blinkers lights work - e flashers work - e brake work's - Dash cluster - temp gauge - fuel gauge - oil presser gauge - dash lights - vent control handle lights -  cig lighter, all work correct!  A new dash cluster was installed to insure all gauges and spedo worked correct! A new am/fm stereo with i phone and Blue tooth "Hands free phone" was installed in dash. New speaker pod with speakers installed on hump below dash facing forward so you can hear stereo with top off driving the roadways. New rubber floor shift boot's and plate installed. The 40 years old "original floor console was re finished and re installed. No cracks in the original Jeep console 40 years later.  New lower edge of body to window rubber installed after paint. New marker lights and fender flair's installed . So everything inside and outside look's outstanding! = SEE PHOTOS and VIDEO. "Now" for the best part "Running gear" the original 304 v8 motor was junk "rod damage to block!  So out with the old and in with the new. A"bigger better" amc  V8 - 360 motor was installed under the hood. Motor was fitted with 4 bbl carb, New electronic distributor "no points.  Headers and side duel exhaust . New aluminum radiator for better cooling - New high amp charging system and wiring . Motor is backed by a Jeep manual transmission that shifts and down shifts outstanding. All new clutch parts installed . The Front and Rear end both the good Jeep Dana. Warn Locking hubs on front. Transfer Case is also Jeep Dana 20.  All 4 Wheel drive parts in great working order. This Jeep is fitted with Power Steering and it drives nice - No slop in steering , no free play or lane drift. Jeep also fitted with Power Brakes so it stops on a dime! Jeep also fitted with front sway bar so it handles very nice- It's a joy to drive!   Mild 2 inch suspension lift,  no tire or fender rub! New shocks and bushings . NO LEAKS under this Jeep!  So in a (nut shell ) this Jeep look's outstanding inside and out and it run's and drive's outstanding! Jeep is a true 40 year old classic and will only go up in value if kept nice. Jeep also has a brand new, High end  BEST TOP / SUPER TOP with Full Door's. Jeep can be driven in the cold winter months or year round. The Best top / Super top is the best soft top on the market and will carry a snow load if needed. Rail system top fit's like a glove . No water leaks in top !  Jeep is garaged in Las Vegas Nevada if buyer think's they need to inspect in person.
