Step son wanted this car, so we bought it. It drove fine for a few weeks, then the check engine light came on. It still drove fine, just the light it on. Codes indicate it needs a ETM/ETS. It still drives perfectly, but it is throwing that code. It sat for a couple of months, so now it also needs a new battery. NO OTHER KNOWN ISSUES! Normally you expect to see lots of dings and scratches on a car this age, but this one does not show it's age at all! If you see anything in the photos that looks like an imperfection, let me know, and I can check on it, and send a close up photo of that area. It looks great! Hindsight is 20/20: We should have had the emission inspection done as soon as we registered the car, but I was SO busy. We had 7 weeks to get it done, and put it off. After a few weeks the light came on. If we had gotten the emissions inspection done early, we would have had 2 years before having to worry about it. The safety inspection is still good for VA, until February. There are no expected inspection issues. Tires, brakes, lights, all great! Interior looks great, exterior looks great, runs great, did not burn oil, no smoke, everything works! Radio code is supplied, so once you replace the battery you can enter the code into the radio again. The actual VIN is on this listing, so you can check the history, carfax, etc. If you want it shipped, you will pay all transport costs from my driveway to wherever you want it delivered. If shipping, I prefer you arrange for those costs, and I will only ask for the cost to tow the vehicle to the shipping company, unless they come and pick it up. Deposit due in 48 hours, full payment within 7 days from end of auction. Assume it must be picked up by the end of February, but I might be able to extend that to the end of March. If you bring tags and a battery you can drive it home. I can buy a new battery if you like, from any source you like, and you will just pay the cost of the battery, or you can ship a battery here and I can install it. Whatever works for you. Tires hold air, and were recently topped off. Oil is good, needs a change in about 2,000 miles. Coolant is good as well.
