For your consideration is a 1997 Land Rover Discovery SE7. It has 230,133 miles (San Francisco Bay Area commuting) and still runs and drives great! It has an Old Man Emu suspension kit with lifted springs, Land Rover brush bar, and newer tires with plenty of tread. The interior is in great shape for its age with no tears in the leather and carpet not worn. The headliner was replaced with one treated with Herculiner coating (never worry about sagging cloth). The SE7 was the top of the line model with leather seating for 7, alloy wheels, 3rd row seating, air conditioning and heat (with fan controls) in the second and third rows. Although it is not factory there is a 6 disc CD changer with remote that is connected to the factory radio. The paint is in good condition with some areas showing oxidation (mainly the roof). It is British so it does leak and will need the power steering pump replaced (it works fine but leaks). There is also some sort of electric gremlin so the power windows don't always work. I think it may be a ground issue but I haven't looked into it. The A/C blows cold and the heater blows hot so I never used the windows anyhow. Overall it is a great Discovery that I've been driving for a while with absolutely no issues (only the windows, but that's minor for me) All lights work, brakes work, and it runs great! The Anti Lock warning light is on but the previous owner stated it was checked and there were no issues, the mechanic believed to be a faulty light. Brakes have no issues. This Rover is 18yrs old and still very luxurious, may not be an LR3 or 4 but then again not many would take those to places where you can take this...Just sayin' for this price... You can build the perfect off road rig. Land Rover running boards also included but not installed. Clean CA title and SMOG certificate will be provided. PLEASE feel free to email with any questions!
