1979 BMW R100 with a cool and rarely seen Pichler fairing. Comes with the Krauser bags, rear rack, solo seat (I have a dual Corbin seat that you can have instead of the solo seat if you so choose), Brown side stand upgrade, the accessory voltage and clock gauges.....everything that you see in the photos.....including various paint scars and blemishes. 68,600 miles. Starts easily, runs very strong, no smoke, and brakes extremely well. There is no smoke at all and no odd noises. Trans shifts better than any airhead I've ever had. Mechanically, this bike is awesome. If I had to guess, I'd say that the engine and trans were recently gone through and refreshed, but I have no proof of this, it's strictly based on the seat of the pants feeling having owned numerous airheads over the past 30 years. Everything works. Cosmetically, it needs a weekend or two of TLC......fairing has some cracks and delaminations, left side fairing surround around the cylinder is broken/missing a section, but easily repaired if you're handy with fiberglass. Paint is a 10-footer on the body panels, frame and wheels. Exhaust pipes have some surface rust behind the fairing, as expected. Tires are great. Not a show bike, but an easy winter project, to spiff up in time for spring as a long distance sport cruiser, or a great foundation for a GS conversion type scrambler, cafe racer, etc. the options are endless!
