Vehicle Detail

Beautiful 1982 red Porsche 924, drives great, recently went through full check at carmax with no major issues. The look of a sleek Porsche sports car with a fuel efficient engine. Has a 4 cylinder engine, manual transmission, runs nicely, fun to drive! 35 mpg highway. Beautiful body, newer paint job, nice rims and lots of Porsche details. Equipped with Blaupunkt radio and cassette player, A/C (not amazing, but it goes), sunroof, power windows (passenger side needs new switch, simple, cheap fix), power mirrors (don't work, or I don't know how to work them), pop up headlights, Recaro leather sports seats (driver side seat has tears in the leather so I keep seat covers on front seats), back seat that can fold down for more storage space in the back. 3 spoke leather wrapped steering wheel. Newer tires, alternator, starter, new headlights, clutch and torque tube, drive shaft and bearings, fuel pump and thermostat. Recent wax job and oil change, can go 7500 miles in between. Will throw in the oil and filter for the next oil change, as well as fuses, extra headlights and anything else we bought specifically for this car. Comes with original owner's manual and Haynes repair manual. Have service receipts for recent work done on the car if interested. We bought it last summer and have been steadily improving it to maximize its value. Trying to get our investment back to put into a van for our family. Expert research from NADA and Hagerty value this car in the 6k range, with appreciating value if it's kept nice. Search the '82 Porsche 924 on NADA and Hagerty for some more information and values. Off of Hagerty.com: "Today, the tables have turned somewhat and to some entry-level collectors, the 924 (particularly those in bright colors with the wild op-art checked "Pasha" interiors) can occasionally be more desirable than the more complex and maintenance-intensive. With fully galvanized bodies after 1977, the 924 can be a durable, simple fun first Porsche. The remaining few good ones are worth seeking out." issues to be aware of: windshield washer reservoir leaks (pump works fine), as noted passenger window needs new switch, power mirrors appear to be nonfunctional, fuel gauge is not always accurate, so I always keep it pretty full, Odometer stopped working around 59000, actual mileage estimate based on condition of original parts is about 85000. Has been nicely taken care of, and has not been daily driver for at least the last two owners but it is sold as is with no warranty. Buyer responsible for pick up or shipping
