Vehicle Detail
For sale are two 2004 4x4 Nissan Titans! One is totalled and will be sold along with the other as a parts truck. Both are 2004 crew cab SE editions. The black Titan has roughly 170,000 miles and currently will not start. Before this happened I replaced the transmission control module since the truck would slip gears. Ever since the replacement, the Titan will now only crank five times and stop. It shows no signal between the ignition and ecu even though there is voltage to the ecu. I have tried replacing the battery, changing terminals, and even swapping ecu's. I believe the problem is due to the tcm needing to be flashed to the truck. Since it isn't flashed I believe it is sending the wrong reading to the ecu. Before the problem occured it was my daily driver. Collectively between the two trucks I have a couple thousand dollars in ugrades. These include: a Superchip programmer, Long Tube Headers, Nismo CAI, and a Detroit Trutrac. The totaled Titan is soley for a parts truck. The interior has beem gutted to an extent but the engine and transmission are still good with less than 120,000 miles on them. Currently the totalled truck is on jack stands with only one wheel still on it. The buyer will need an effective winch and large enough trailer to for both trucks. The wrecked truck can be kept for parts or parted out. The engine is worth 1500-2000, the tranny is worth 1500-2000, each door sells for 500.00, the Trutrac is worth 600.00, the bed can be sold for 2000.00. Those are only a couple of the many parts that may be sold or kept to avoid hefty repair bills in the future. I have already bought another truck and am forced to sell these two to free up space in my driveway. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone to buy TWO Titans for less than the kelly blue book cost of one (9,800.00). Just think, instead of having the worry of paying an arm and a leg for expensive parts you would have the assurance of having extras already. It would almost be like having an autozone in your back yard!
