I bought this SL from the original owner about two years ago. Prior to that he had spent nearly 15K in repairs at the local Mercedes dealer. New PS assembly, new rear main seal, brakes, blower motor regulator, drive shaft center support bearing, transmission valve body, alternator,new cat convertors, mass air flow sensor, trunk support struts...just to name a few. I have a folder of the records that I will provide to the new owner. This has been a great car, free of any leaks and new tires about 10k miles ago. Now for the bad news....my daughter put it in a ditch a few days ago and damaged the right front of the car. The wheel was damaged and the tire was cut. I installed the spare and drove it the half mile back home. It wasn't fun, but the car still runs great and has no lights or codes. The car cannot be driven other than onto a trailer. I have a clean title for the car and two working keys. Great car for parts or for someone that wants to fix it and have a nice convertible. don't hesitate to email me with a decent offer.
