My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4. The Expedition is based off of the full sized F-Series trucks which have an excellent reputation for rugged construction and reliability. I would rate the exterior of this Expedition to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. This is a good looking truck overall. The dark red finish shows some normal fading from age but is presentable. The tan exterior trim is specific to the Eddie Bauer trim package and adds a nice look to the exterior. The most noteworthy thing to point out on the exterior of this Expedition is the lack of body rust. Typically at this age, these trucks will have visible rust through on the rockers and door bottoms. However, both rockers are completely intact on this truck without even a trace of surface rust visible. The door bottoms and tail gate are clean, too. The previous owner of this Expedition obviously took great care in keeping the exterior clean. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of Kuhmo's with deep tread all around that can't have more than a few thousand miles on them. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Expedition Eddie Bauer to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age and are full looking throughout the interior. A full set of factory floor mats are included. The leather seats show well for their age. The dash and headliner are clean. Both front seats are heated and the drivers seat is power adjusted. The power windows, locks, mirrors and seat all work properly. The audio system is the original Mach 460 Premium Sound with CD changer mounted in the center console which appears to be working properly and sounds great. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works as it should. It is a little cold to get a good test on the air conditioner but I can hear the compressor kick on and off as needed so I would guess that the air conditioner works properly. There is rear heating and air conditioning, too. The only bad thing I can say about the interior is that the previous owner appears to have been a smoker. Admittedly, I haven't done anything to the interior other than running the vacuum through it so a little effort could probably do wonders if you want to put a little time into it. Mechanically, this Expedition appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.4L Triton V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine doesn't smoke. The only annoying thing I've noticed is that you have to start it in neutral. I can feel a little slack in the shifter from age so the computer probably doesn't realize that it's in park, although it is...no biggie. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. You get a few little noises and such but nothing alarming for an older truck. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. There was a check engine light on (codes were "bank 1 system too lean" and "bank 2 system too lean") when I got the truck. During my road test, I didn't notice any drivability issues so I cleared the codes to see if they would come back. I wanted to let you know in case the light does come back on. The big V8 makes plenty of power and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4. The Expedition is based off of the full sized F-Series trucks which have an excellent reputation for rugged construction and reliability. I would rate the exterior of this Expedition to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. This is a good looking truck overall. The dark red finish shows some normal fading from age but is presentable. The tan exterior trim is specific to the Eddie Bauer trim package and adds a nice look to the exterior. The most noteworthy thing to point out on the exterior of this Expedition is the lack of body rust. Typically at this age, these trucks will have visible rust through on the rockers and door bottoms. However, both rockers are completely intact on this truck without even a trace of surface rust visible. The door bottoms and tail gate are clean, too. The previous owner of this Expedition obviously took great care in keeping the exterior clean. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of Kuhmo's with deep tread all around that can't have more than a few thousand miles on them. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.
I would rate the interior of this Expedition Eddie Bauer to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age and are full looking throughout the interior. A full set of factory floor mats are included. The leather seats show well for their age. The dash and headliner are clean. Both front seats are heated and the drivers seat is power adjusted. The power windows, locks, mirrors and seat all work properly. The audio system is the original Mach 460 Premium Sound with CD changer mounted in the center console which appears to be working properly and sounds great. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works as it should. It is a little cold to get a good test on the air conditioner but I can hear the compressor kick on and off as needed so I would guess that the air conditioner works properly. There is rear heating and air conditioning, too. The only bad thing I can say about the interior is that the previous owner appears to have been a smoker. Admittedly, I haven't done anything to the interior other than running the vacuum through it so a little effort could probably do wonders if you want to put a little time into it.
Mechanically, this Expedition appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.4L Triton V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine doesn't smoke. The only annoying thing I've noticed is that you have to start it in neutral. I can feel a little slack in the shifter from age so the computer probably doesn't realize that it's in park, although it is...no biggie. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. You get a few little noises and such but nothing alarming for an older truck. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. There was a check engine light on (codes were "bank 1 system too lean" and "bank 2 system too lean") when I got the truck. During my road test, I didn't notice any drivability issues so I cleared the codes to see if they would come back. I wanted to let you know in case the light does come back on. The big V8 makes plenty of power and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
